Cayless signs too

In addition to the signing of Nathan Hindmarsh, Parramatta captain Nathan Cayless has also extended his contract for a further three years.

He told AAP: ""I've got a bit to put back into the place after the last couple of years - I'm looking forward to it. I'm happy at Parramatta - they have looked after me."

Cayless noted a lot of Parramatta's new signings had put pen to paper for three years, meaning the club will have a stable base to work from over the next few years.

"They wanted to keep a few players together, I was pretty happy to stay there," Cayless said.

Cayless said he was excited but nervous about returning for the Eels tonight against the Panthers.

"I haven't played for four months. It's always like that when you are coming back for your first game. It will be good to get out there, obviously not playing for so long I can ease my way back into it."
