Cayless for Stapleton only change

A number of Eels set to leave Parramatta at the end of this year will get the chance to go out on a high note with Brian Smith leaving the team unchanged from the one he named last week, with the exception of Nathan Cayless in for Craig Stapleton.

Chris Thorman and Junior Langi are both off to England, while Lee Hopkins and James Webster appear not to have been offered contracts for 2005. Adam Peek's future is also unknown at this stage.

Langi has exceeded expectations this year securing a regular centre spot, while Lee Hopkins and James Webster have been great Parramatta club men, who have always impressed with their effort and enthusiasm. Chris Thorman, after a rocky start, has started to get more comfortable with the standard of play in the NRL late in the season and will return to England a better player for the experience. He has said if he has another crack at the NRL, Parramatta is the only club he would return to.

Nathan Cayless takes back the captaincy.
